Our Most Successful Show Yet!

On May 2, 2019, RBG hosted its annual Independent C-Store Expo at the Burr Ridge Marriot in Burr Ridge, Illinois. “We had an amazing turnout,” stated Jerry Kaforski, Manager, Vendor Services, RBG. “The show offered key vendor partners and independent retailers the opportunity to network and gain new knowledge and trends about the industry.”
During the event, independent retailers had the opportunity to speak with vendors about their products and what to expect in the next year in various category managements. Retailers and vendors alike were able to network while enjoying food and drinks provided by RBG Club Services.
New to this year’s expo was a Grand Prize of a PRISMA System. Valued at $14,500 the All-In-One PRISMA system has a dual 15" touch screen display, back office software, fuel direct controller, Data D-Box for up to 16 fuel positions, 20 ray scanner, cash drawer, thermal printer, and shipping anywhere in the USA with installation. The winner of the grand prize was Louie Rashed of Cal-Gas Citgo!
Each year, the Independent C-Store Expo features a New Product Gallery. Vendors display and showcase their top new products, and independent retailers have the chance to view them, sample each product, and vote for their favorites.
This year’s winner was: Kellogg’s® Rice Krispies Treats Snap Crackle Poppers! Second place went to: Mentos® Clean Breath Mints! Third place went to: BIC® Special Edition Blown Glass Series Lighters! Congratulations to Kellogg’s, Perfetti Van Melle, and BIC for being winners at the 2019 Independent C-Store Expo!
In addition to the New Product Gallery, the Independent C-Store Expo featured an education session, presented by JUUL. The topic of the presentation, titled “Change is Already Here”, focused around the e-cigarette trend currently on the rise in America. More Americans are seeking to quit smoking without losing their nicotine fix, and e-cigarettes, according to JUUL’s educational session, are a great alternative.
RBG Club Services has already started planning for the 2020 Independent C-Store Expo. Keep an eye out for next year’s date!

RBG Club Services held yet another successful Independent C-Store Expo. Each year, the Independent C-Store Expo features a New Product Gallery. Vendors display and showcase their top new products, and independent retailers have the chance to view them, sample each product, and vote for their favorites.

RBG Club Services (RBG) is excited to announce the 2018 Independent C-Store Expo’s New Product Gallery Winner. RBG hosted its’ annual Independent C-Store Expo on June 7th, 2018.
“The 2018 Independent C-Store Expo proved again to be a successful show offering key vendor partners and independent retailers the experience of a small format and intimate networking opportunity”, said Jerry Kaforski, Manager, Vendor Services, RBG.
Every year, the Independent C-Store Expo trade show features a New Product Gallery in which vendors display and showcase their top new products. Independent retailers have the chance to view these new products and vote for their favorites.
This year’s winner is: Milk Magic Straws & Water Magic Straws by Reach Companies!
Both the Milk Magic and Water Magic Straws were a huge hit at this years show.
Milk Magic branded flavoring straws has produced milk straws for nearly 10 years. During that time they have flavored just over 1/2 billion glasses of milk. The product has been a staple in many retailers including both Target and Walmart.
